ESE Department

of Madison District Schools will submit the following applications to the Florida Department of Education for the Fiscal Year 2019-20

IDEA B-Entitlement Grant -$789,308.00

IDEA PreK Entitlement Grant - $55,748.00

Lori Newman, Coordinator of ESE at 850-973-1562.

 

Once these grants are approved by the Department of Education they will be placed on the agenda for Madison County School Board Approval. Expected date of award will be in July 2019.

The School Board of Madison County meeting originally scheduled for May 20, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. is changed to May 20, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

 

The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the School Administration Building located at 210 NE Duval Avenue, Madison, Florida.

MCHS has been accepted into the Amazon Future Engineer Program.  Lisa Roderick, our Coordinator of Special Programs, applied to bring computer science courses to the school and was approved for the 2019-2020 school year.  These courses will enable our students to learn more about this growing sector of employment in our society.  Madison County School District is excited about this partnership with Amazon!
